Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using PhoneRestore ("the App") or visiting getphonerestore.com ("the Website"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

These Terms are between you and PhoneRestore Labs ("we," "us," "our").

2. What PhoneRestore Does

PhoneRestore is an Android application that:

• Takes a snapshot of your device settings (WiFi, volume, brightness, etc.)
• Monitors your device for accidental setting changes
• Restores settings to your saved snapshot with one tap
• Optionally allows a caregiver to monitor and restore settings remotely

PhoneRestore modifies device settings only. It does not access, modify, or delete your personal content (messages, photos, contacts, etc.).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PhoneRestore. If you are setting up PhoneRestore on behalf of another person (e.g., a parent or family member), you represent that you have their consent to do so.

4. Caregiver Features

PhoneRestore allows users to pair with a "caregiver" who can:

• View the device's current settings status
• Receive alerts when settings change
• Remotely trigger a settings restore

Caregiver pairing requires explicit consent from the device owner. The device owner can revoke caregiver access at any time. Caregivers agree to use this access responsibly and only for the purpose of helping the device owner.

5. Your Account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use PhoneRestore on a device without the owner's knowledge or consent
• Use PhoneRestore for surveillance, stalking, or any malicious purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Use the App in violation of any applicable law

7. Permissions

PhoneRestore requires certain Android permissions to function (e.g., modifying system settings, accessibility services). We request only permissions necessary for the App's core features. Each permission is explained during setup, and you can review them in your device's settings at any time.

8. Availability & Updates

We aim to keep PhoneRestore available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may release updates to improve functionality, fix bugs, or address security issues. We recommend keeping the App updated.

9. Pricing & Subscriptions

PhoneRestore may offer free and paid tiers. If you purchase a subscription:

• Payment is processed through Google Play
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• You can cancel at any time through Google Play
• Refunds are handled per Google Play's refund policy

10. Disclaimers

PhoneRestore is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to make it reliable, but:

• We do not guarantee that every setting can be restored on every device (Android manufacturers vary in what they allow)
• We are not responsible for issues caused by Android OS updates, manufacturer restrictions, or other apps
• We do not provide professional caregiving, medical, or emergency services

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PhoneRestore Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

12. Termination

You can stop using PhoneRestore at any time by uninstalling the App and deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via the App or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
